EVORA'S TEMPLE
I A.C. Century.
This Corinthian temple was probably dedicated to Diane. The chapitels and bases of its columns are in marble of Estremoz, and the shafts in granite. Its preserved state is due to its transformation in a fortress during Middle Ages and its cleaning in last century.
