AMPURIAS RUINS

The forum of the city was formed by one quadrangular square presided bye one
temple and a great portico built over an underground gallery. There are several houses
with atrium.
AMPURIAS WALLS
II B.C. Century
The walls were supposed built by Cesar. They have a rectangular perimeter of 22 ha. They stand over a base of old stone, well disposed, with a part made of concrete lately. Inside them two gates are open without towers.
| How to go: Begining from Figueras city in Gerona, take N-II motorway to Gerona direction. Change to 252 road to L'Escala. A little before to arrive this village you will find a road to the Ampurias' Ruins. |
