Environement
The James School is situated in San Sebastian, the capital of La Gomera. San Sebastian is a little coastal town with a population of aproximately 7.000 people. It has two black sandy beaches and a marina which gives it a truly international flavour. San Sebastian is historically famous for being the last port of call for Cristopher Colombus' voyages to The Americas and there are monuments which mark his presence on the island, including the house where he stayed.


Leisure
The main leisure activities are related to the sea and mountain sports, such as swimming, sailing, diving, fishing and trekking.

There are many hotels, pensione and apartaments available. The average price for a double bedroom apartment is between 5000 and 6000 pts / day.
